1 lb ground turkey (85/15)
2 cups cooked ziti with a drizzle of olive oil to keep them from sticking
water
1 can diced tomatoes
½ jar marinara sauce (store bought, use your favorite)
1 cup mozzarella (low moisture)
¼ cup perlini mozzarella
Steak seasoning
1 tsp dried basil
1 Tbsp lime juice
1 tsp sugar

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease an 8x8 or 9x9 cooking pan.
2) Place a med/large saucepan on the stove at medium heat. Add ground turkey, steak seasoning and basil; stirring until brown.
3) To the saucepan with the ground turkey, add can of tomatoes, marinara sauce, lime juice and sugar. Bring to a simmer and cover; let cook for another 10-15 min and remove from heat.
4) Scoop about ½ cup of meat sauce into the bottom of the baking dish, layer with about ½ of the pasta. Continue layering until all sauce has been used; sauce should be the top layer.
5) Sprinkle cheese over sauce and bake until the cheese is browned; about 10-15 min.
To plate:
Cut into 6 squares and use a spatula to move serving to a plate or bowl.
